My softness. Nobody can see it because New York is so tough. There’s no time for us to be soft anymore!
Favorite age so far and why?
My age, 38. Because I don’t look 38. There’s a perception of how a woman should be at my age. It’s interesting when I meet people who think I’m 28 until we get into conversation. I never imagined I would look like this at 38, and I feel way better than at 30 or 35. As women we have to be proud. Male friends of mine are always like, don’t say your age! But I’m proud of my age. We all should be—there’s nothing to hide in getting old.
What do you admire most in others?
Kindness and loyalty.
Immediate turn off?
Someone who is disrespectful.
Something that makes you smile?
When a little kid sits on my knee and says: Delphine like a dolphin? I melt. I love kids. They make me smile all the time.
Biggest insecurity or fear?
My biggest insecurity would be finances. I’m always dealing with that. My biggest fear is probably the death of others.
When do you feel like the best version of yourself?
I’m going to be very honest… after making love! I go to the bathroom, look at myself in the mirror and I’ve never felt so good.
Words you live by?
When you’re dealing with issues in life, be water. Swill around with no anger, stress of anxiety. Being water is the best.
Something you have yet to figure out?
Haha! What a question! What life is?!
Something you have figured out?
Being alive and in good health is good enough… as simple as can be!
